I'm Back!

Thanks for waiting everyone, I’m back! Spent a little longer time away than I wanted to, but I’ve gotten a lot of work done and I think I’m ready. I’m also very happy for all of your understanding and kindness on my last post! Color Blind will return this Friday, but before I start posting again I wanted to inform you of what’s going on.

I’m going to be redoing the first three chapters.

Now I’m sure some of you might be wondering, “why the hell would you be doing that when you could just be drawing new pages?” and I get you, I’d probably think the same thing in your position, but let me explain.

I started this comic when I was 14 years old, and I was by no means a great artist or writer back then. I’ve learned a lot by drawing this comic, and grown a lot as both an artist and writer but also a person, and I just feel like the older parts of Color Blind no longer match what the comic has become. A lot of characters and plot points weren’t fleshed out as much as they could have been, and I want to give it the attention it deserves.

This comic is important to me, and I want it to be something I’m proud of. And I want it to be something you all can enjoy as well! I’ve been wanting to do this for over a year now and I think now is the right time. And before I end this post I want to share some important details about this redo.

1.) The old pages won’t be deleted, but will be kept in a separate archive.

2.) The redo won’t be drawn in my current style, but something similar to the older style- just with my current skill set. That way the transition from the redone pages to the next chapter won’t be jarring.

3.) I’m going to start posting pages as I finish them for $5 patrons of my Patreon.

4.) I might also try updating 3 times a week for a while, I’ll speak more about that on Friday.

I hope you’re as excited for this as I am! I’m excited to see you thoughts on this in the morning.
